THE PERFECT GETAWAY
ABOUT THE HOUSE
This is a small and cozy fully-equipped self-catering double storey house comprising of two 2 bedrooms on the ground floor, both with queen size beds. Two separate bathrooms, albeit not en-suite, are conveniently close to the two bedrooms. Both bathrooms have a shower, basin and WC. An open plan small indoor seating area and a fully equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher, 5 plate gas stove with an electric oven, microwave, ice-machine and large double door fridge and freezer completes the downstairs interior. The loft consists of an open plan space comprising of a room area with a king size bed, a TV snug area leading to a 3rd safari style bathroom on what used to be a viewing deck. This bathroom also consists of a shower, basin and WC. The veranda is equipped with a gas grill, pizza over and a tiny fireplace for the occasional chilly evenings in winter. A built in braai is located just off the veranda. A tiny, sparkling splash pool provides welcome relief from the many really hot and humid days in Marloth Park.
IMPORTANT TO NOTE ABOUT THE HOUSE
The house is relatively small and compact and although we don't exclude children younger than 12 from our booking requirements, we do need to mention that it is not a particularly child friendly house. For the same reason we are unable to accommodate any more than 6 people, whether the 7th person's is a child or not. Strictly maximum 6 people. We reserve the right to cancel the reservation on your arrival or charge an additional ZAR750 per person per night, should more guests ( children included) than what was confirmed.
SAFETY AND SECURITY
Marloth Park is not a gated community nor an estate as one would find in the cities. Both entry gates to the Park are manned by security guards and the Park is known to be relatively safe compared to other areas of our country. However, no guarantees are given in this regard and guests are required to familiarise themselves with the Safety Guidelines that will be shared by the hosts on confirmation of a reservation. The property is not fenced nor gated, wildlife roam freely on the property – we remind you that we’re in their space and not the other way around and therefore request that you respect that. Lastly, bear in mind that the house is not particularly child friendly – it is small, the swimming pool is not gated nor does it have a safety net. There is also an open staircase leading to the loft area.

Not everyone is familiar with Marloth Park – a few bad guest experiences has unfortunately necessitated that we capture some information and a few park rules to make your stay comfortable and safe, to conserve the environment and to ensure that those around you also have a pleasant stay. We trust that you appreciate the reason for this and kindly request that you please take a few minutes to read through the document, sign it and return it to us before your arrival. Keys will not be handed over without receipt of this acknowledgement.
